George “Shiloh” Ernest Rogers III, 43, formally of Fort Hood, Texas passed away Sunday, July 2nd, 2017, near Forest Service Road 24 on the Malheur National Forest. A memorial service for George will be held at a later date.

George was born April 25, 1974, in Killeen, Texas at Fort Hood to George Rogers Jr. of Dumas, Texas, and Brenda (Smith) Woodall of Rocky Ford, Colorado.  George attended Dumas High School, in Dumas Texas where he played football and baseball.  After High School George worked in construction and lived most of his life in California. 

George was free spirited, he loved nature, being outdoors and he loved his family.

He is survived by his two sons; Julian Rogers of Stillwater, OK and Cedar Shylow Rain of Eureka, CA; his father George Rogers Jr. and his wife Doreen Rogers of Dumas, TX; mother Brenda Woodall and her husband Carl Woodall of Rocky Ford, CO; brothers Dwayne Rogers of CO and  Jeff Rogers of Dumas, TX; two half-brothers Adam Rogers of Dumas, TX and Eric Rindhal of Twin Cities, MN; step sisters Jacqueline Aikman and fiancé Gavin Hoskins Lorraine of Amarillo, TX, Clarissa McPherson and husband Matt McPherson of Dumas, TX, Miranda Coon and husband Randy Coon of Dumas, TX, Gaylene Woodall and Eric Woodall of Oklahoma, Cindy Miller of Fitch, TX, and Jennifer Miller of Grand Junction, CO. he also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents George Rogers Sr., Edna V Rogers, Don Smith and Dorothy Smith.
