Otho Glen Laurance, age 89, of Prairie City, Oregon passed away on May 15, 2018.
Otho was born on April 4, 1929, in Prairie City, Oregon to Clyde Alton and Emily Ferne (Savage) Laurance. He attended and graduated from Prairie City High School. After high school, Otho served 4 years in the United States Navy.
On March 10, 1951, Otho married Sammie Lou Robertson in Knoxville, Tennessee. He worked as an upholsterer for Laurance Upholstery for 25 years and retired in 1991. He enjoyed gunsmithing, shooting guns, reloading and reading. He was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Otho is survived by his son Gary (Jeanette) Laurance of Isla Mujeres, Mexico; his son Rick (Christel) Laurance of Sweden; his daughter Joni (Bob) Warren of John Day, Oregon; and his son Steve (Brenda) Laurance of Chino Valley, Arizona. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sammie Lou Laurance and his parents, Clyde and Emily Laurance.
