Nancy Lee Morgan, age 78 of Long Creek went to meet the Lord on September 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held September 29, 2023, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Long Creek starting at 11:00 AM with a reception at the Friendship Hall to follow.
Nancy was born on February 4, 1945, to Marvin and LaVelle Savage in Dayton, Washington. When she was a month old, the family moved to Long Creek, Oregon, where she lived her whole life.
She attended Long Creek School all twelve years. She worked as a waitress at the Mountain Inn Café and met her husband Wilson (Red) Morgan. They were married on December 3, 1963, and they had two children: a son, Daniel (Shannon) Morgan, and a daughter, Danna (Glenn) Moodenbaugh. Nancy was a homemaker for a number of years and then she and Red became the custodians at the Long Creek School. Nancy retired after 25 years of service.
Nancy was well loved in her community and never met a stranger. She loved her family, friends, country music, Bunco, and of course, her cats!
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
She is survived by her children, her brother Darrell Savage, five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
